A dog owner is appealing for sightings of her dog that ran away from her last weekend.
Lisa Williamson’s small dog ran away from the beach at South Shore on Sunday 10th December.
“The last sighting we have had was Tuesday afternoon near the Carnaby tip.” said Lisa.
“She is a small white terrier, originally from Romania. She is very shy and will not approach anyone.
“She also has lupus so will not be coping in the cold weather.”
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an immune-mediated disease in which a dog’s immune system begins to attack its own tissues. Every tissue in the body contains substances that may stimulate an immune system reaction.
Lisa has also appealed to anyone who spots her not to shout, chase or try to catch her but call the numbers listed below.
The white dog is still thought to be around the Carnaby, Haisthorpe or Thornholme area.
