Two movie-makers and an actress from Bridlington have been busy filming on location at South Landing near Flamborough.
Tom and James Pickering, along with actress Levi Heaton have been on location at the picturesque bay filming for their latest movie entitled ‘He Kills at Night.’
The talented trio all grew up on West Hill in Bridlington and attended Hilderthorpe and Bridlington School.
Tom and James and have been involved in filming and creating documentaries for several years, notably their most recent film ‘I Could Never Go Vegan’ which was released last year to much critical acclaim.
Said James, who wrote and produced the film: “We have been filming in South and West Yorkshire, but it was nice to get back to our own area to shoot some scenes.”
Director Tom Pickering, added that the film, which had a cast of seven, was led by Bridlington-born actress Levi Heaton (pictured before and after make-up). It was shot over eight days during snow and bitter cold in Sheffield as well as on the East Coast.
Added James: “Levi’s make-up took two and a half hours every day and she and the rest of the cast and crew were ‘real troupers’ and loved the stunning coastline.”
The film revolves around an serial killer who attempts to hire Levi’s character to help him escape justice at Christmas.
The thriller is due to be screened on Prime just before Christmas this year.
Tom and James’s parents – John and Tracey Pickering – still live in Bridlington as does Levi’s mum Michelle.
