The Bridlington Tourist Association (BTA), anon-profit organisation established by local holiday
accommodation proprietors, is dedicated topromoting Bridlington and its surrounding area . The BTA’s mission is to guarantee high-quality lodging for its members, identifiable by their signature blue and yellow plaques.
These symbols assure visitors that the
accommodations have undergone regular inspections.
This year, the BTA has appointed a new president.
Sarah Hutchinson, a familiar face in the community and former librarian at Bridlington Library, has taken on the
role as she prepares for retirement.
Sarah runs the Bessingby Mews Holiday Cottages and has long- standing ties to the BTA, as her family were among its founding members.
She succeeds Rick Arrand, who stepped down to focus on his responsibilities as Mayor of Bridlington and his councillor duties.
The BTA committee comprises of several other members,

The association is also inviting more accommodation providers and businesses to join its ranks, encouraging those interested in attracting more tourists.
Part of the BTA’s remit is to foster community spirit through sponsorship of local events, competitions and
tourism initiatives.
