Month long coronavirus lockdown measures for Bridlington and the whole of England will commence at one minute past midnight on 5th November….Thursday morning.
It has been announced that all pubs and restaurants are to close – though takeaway services and delivery will still be allowed. All non-essential retail, leisure, entertainment and hospitality will close, though supermarkets will still be able to sell non essential goods. Hairdressers, nail bars and beauty salons will also have to close.
Construction and manufacturing businesses can stay open.
There will be no mixing of people allowed inside homes, except for childcare and other forms of help and support.
Clinically vulnerable to say at home where possible.
Any travel within the UK will be discouraged, except for work and only overnight stays will be permitted for work.
Schools, colleges and universities are set to stay open, places of worship will stay open, but only for private prayer.
Furlough scheme to be extended during the month of November.
The lockdown period is earmarked to last until December 2nd.
