Echo writer and author Mike Wilson will be holding a Meet the Author event on 3rd November at Tiffin Café on Market Place, Old Town, Bridlington.
The event will take place between 11 am and 3 pm, he will be revealing his latest book, “Sherlock Holmes: His Adventures at Sewerby House.”
Last year, Mike, 82, wrote a short story which won a prize in a national competition and was inspired to write further stories on a similar line.
Mike will be inviting readers to subscribe to the publication of the Sherlock book at the event.
He will also be showing “Remembering the Fallen,” written to record the emotive display of cut-out soldiers seated in the Priory Church. Mike hopes the book will become a permanent record of the event.
Visitors to the event will also receive free samples of Tiffin, courtesy of Karyn Hoggard, proprietor of Tiffin Café.
Mike will also have part of his collection of local history books, as well as copies of “The Anchorman,” which relates the story behind Ronald Falck’s challenge to have his sculpture on display in Bridlington.
