Hundreds of runners pounded the roads around the Bridlington area as they took part in the annual half-marathon and fun-run.
A total of 412 competitors registered for the event, which was organised by Bridlington Road Runners, and is now firmly on the regions running calendar. The day attracts runners from all around Yorkshire and beyond.
The first local runner to complete the 13.1-mile course was Nick Jordan who finished thirteenth overall in a time of 1.23.02. Diane Palmer was Bridlington’s top lady finisher coming in at 1.49.25.
Many of the Bridlington Roadrunners club members helped with the organisation and marshaling of the run which took in Sewerby, Flamborough, Bempton and then back to the finishing line on the seafront.
The overall race was won by Michale Dowson from Scarborough.
