The duo have lost a whopping 6st 7lb and 4st 7lb between them
Sally Jones, who lost the most weight said: “I really had enough of being overweight all my adult life, I was worried I wouldn’t be around for my children and grandchildren. I decided enough was enough and I was ready to change my life.”

The friends both joined a Bridlington Slimming World group in January 2019 and are delighted how much weight they have lost.
Sally says she enjoys Slimming Worlds Food Optimising plan because her family enjoy the meals she cooks – especially Hunters Chicken.
Said Joanna: “The best thing about Food Optimising is that you are never hungry and it’s so easy to follow. I love the spaghetti bolognese and my family enjoy the same meals. I could not have done it without the support and encouragement of our Consultant Claire and the fantastic group members.”
Said Sally: “The other group members have taught me to plan which really helps when I’m busy.I can keep up with my three grandsons and granddaughter now – I also love to walk the dog for miles.”
Since losing weight, both women have enjoyed health benefits too. Joanna doesn’t have as much back pain and Sally who was close to being diabetic, she is much healthier and fitter. Both have seen a massive decrease of their BMI too.
Consultant Claire said: “ I am incredibly proud of both Sally and Joanna. Both ladies have faced struggles along the way but we believe the support you get from being in warm, empowering group environment is key to helping you eat more healthily and becoming more active too.”
