A Bridlington charity that helps support the needy in the town have launched a major fundraising campaign. The Hinge Centre can benefit if you shop online and sign in to a company called Easyfundraising.co.uk.
There are over 3,500 everyday companies such as Amazon, Ebay, M&S, NEXT, Jet2 and U-Switch, who will give a few pence each time you make an order.
All these companies and many more are registered with Easyfundraising.org.uk.
To sign in to Easyfundraising download their Donation Reminder Tool and open the tool each time you want to buy something; and make your purchase. Then the retailer puts money in the ‘Hinge Centre’ pot.
Megan Robinson, Community Co-ordinator at the Hinge Centre said: “It couldn’t be simpler, and we could do so much more to help our community with this extra money. Once any person has raised £5.00 for the Hinge centre Easyfundraising match it.”
“If you change your energy supplier, through the Easyfundraising tool the supplier gives the Hinge £15. Booking a holiday, buying furniture, food or clothes, arranging your insurance or switching your utility supplier you can help to mount up the funds to help make a difference for the most needy in our community.” added Megan.
