A wonderful donation from the Bridlington Mayor’s official charity has added over £2,000 to the Alderson House/ Bridlington Echo Mini Bus Appeal.
Former mayor Colin Croft chose the appeal after seeing first hand the invaluable work that is carried out by the staff and volunteers at Alderson House. Over his civic year he saw a grand total of £2,193.34 flow into the fundraising pot.
Said Colin: “I was honoured to hand over the money to the Mini Bus Appeal. It was my aim to raise over £2000, and I would like to thank all the people who have helped me and donated over the year to such a fantastic cause.”
Colin held fundraising events and collections during his civic duties, with help from his wife, mayoress Bridie and his consort Cllr Shelagh Finlay.
