Team members from Lloyd Dowson, Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisors got on their bikes ahead of the Tour De Yorkshire in aid of Help for Heroes.
They set off from the Lloyd Dowson Scarborough office on Falsgrave Road, finishing at the Bridlington Lifeboat Station.
The cycle ride was 17 miles in total and took the team through surrounding villages and a variety of terrain. Some of the Lloyd Dowson team members rode from Bridlington to Scarborough before beginning the ride with the rest of the team from their Scarborough office. Those who took part were extremely committed and approached the challenge with enthusiasm.
Vanessa Rowbottom, Director for Lloyd Dowson, said: “The team did brilliantly with the challenge, great teamwork and determination enabled us to raise £1,235 for Help for Heroes. We now look forward to the Tour De Yorkshire with Stage 3 starting in Bridlington with Scarborough hosting a finish.”
