There is a packed programme of events coming up at St John’s Burlington Church in December.
The St John Street venue has a whole host of events that should appeal to many people.
4th Wednesday at 7.30 pm East Coast Tour of 2019 Christmas Musical – ‘While Shepherds Watched’ at SJB featuring Bay Primary School – Entry is free
6th Friday at 7 pm
Gala Concert with The Weighton Waytes & Hilderthorpe School Choir. Tickets £5 or pay on the door (children free)
6th-8th and 13th-15th Festival of Christmas Trees from 10am – 4pm each Friday & Saturday and 12noon to 4pm on Sundays
A full programme of live musical entertainment, 60 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees, meals and refreshments at Café 1884 throughout the Festival. Entry to the Festival is free – donations for Yorkshire Cancer & Rotary Charities.
10th Tuesday at 6.30 pm Wolds & Coast District Scout Carol Service (Coastal area) – all welcome
14th Saturday 10 – 11 am Carol Singing for Christian Aid in the town centre.
15th Sunday at 4.30 pm Festival of Christmas Trees final celebration (Carols for all) – with Sewerby Methodist Church Choir & Churches Together Choir – all welcome.
22nd Sunday at 10.30 am Instant/DIY Nativity (Family Service) – all welcome at 6 pm Candlelit Carol Service – all welcome.
24th Tuesday at 11.30 pm Christmas Eve Communion Service – all welcome.
25th Wednesday at 11 am Christmas Day Service – all welcome
31st Tuesday at 11.30 pm Watchnight Service – all welcome
