The station concourse and vantage points all
around were packed when the iconic Mallard engine stopped at Bridlington Station around thirty years ago.
Tom Fynn who sent in this fantastic photo, said :”Digging through my photo collection I came across this A4 Pacific Mallard on a York-Scarboro-Hull-York railtour after restoration at the NRM York. I believe it was 1988 but unsure.”
“The mallard pic was taken when I was 10 with a 35mm film camera.” added Tom.
