Over 20 hosts were present at the first Christmas afternoon tea soiree in the Little Indulgence Cafe in Bridlington on a recent chilly December afternoon. As well as enjoying the lovely food they held a raffle in aid of the Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary after one of their hosts recently rescued an injured fox from her garden.
All the hosts are dog lovers and this was just one of many occasional social events held throughout the region where they swap tips and stories about some of the loveable pooches that they have cared for. Many people don’t like to put their dogs in kennels when they are away and so they use the special service that Barking Mad offers.
Hand picked hosts from throughout North and East Yorkshire have looked after many different breed of dogs, size is never an issue, from Briards to Yorkshire terriers all are treated as family members, customers regularly use the service knowing that Barking Mad provide an extensive support network for the hosts.
