Hundreds of voters are expected to select their preferred candidate for the post of Assistant Lord Feoffee at the Bayle in Bridlington on Thursday (23 September).
Twenty people are standing for the twelve Assitant Lord Feoffee posts that have become vacant within the Lords Feoffees organisation.
The Lords Feoffees is a Bridlington-based charitable group that dates back over 400 years to when the town charter was signed.
The election comes after the deaths of elected Lords since the last election in 2008. This has resulted in the reduction to six active Lords Feoffees.
Current serving Assistants have been automatically elevated to become Lords, creating the need for an election to replenish Assistant Feoffees.
The results are expected to be announced after 7pm outside the Bayle building on Kirkgate.
