A Festive Farm proved a hit attraction at a Bridlington Garden Centre.
Eastfield Garden Centre on Easton Road hosted Ian’s Mobile Farm complete with the cutest farm animals dressed in their festive finest.Goats, sheep, donkeys and even a couple of cute Alpacas took centre stage frolicking in their pens for both adults and children to visit.
Set amid a Santa’s workshop backdrop and a village scene, the animals were dressed up for the visit in comical seasonal outfits.
Colin Thompson from Bridlington said. “I went along with my wife and our granddaughter. It was wonderful and we had a great time looking at the animals. It certainly kicked off the Christmas festivities for all of us.”
Father Christmas was also in his grotto, thanks to North Wolds Lions, who were collecting donations for local good causes. A face painter was on hand to design Christmas themed creations and half-a-dozen food and drink producers attended to let visitors taste their products.
Bempton Brownies and Guides also spent two days assisting with bag packing at the checkout – this service helping to raise funds for the group.
