Flood alerts have been issued for the north sea coast from Bridlington to Barmston.
The Environment Agency are giving a warning of over topping of sea walls during the high-tide between 4.pm and 9.pm.
It is also warning for over topping tomorrow morning from 5.30am to 10.am.
Members of the public are being warned to stay away from the sea walls as the bigger than normal waves will cause lots of stay and dangerous conditions.
The Spa seafront in Bridlington, and the North Pier Harbour area are the main areas where flooding may occur.
