After the success of hosting children’s and vintage party events in a classic caravan, a local businesswoman has set down firm roots.
Fran Read-Sabouni has taken over the Gallery Tea Rooms in Buckton and is opening the premises daily from 10.am to 4pm, all year round.
Said Fran: “I decided the next step after the vintage caravan business was a tea rooms, and the village is just a perfect location. I looked around at several premises, but the Gallery Tea Rooms ticked all the boxes. I will be running the premises as part of the Richard Burton Art Gallery, with ongoing exhibitions of art sculpture and photography still continuing.”
The tea-rooms will serve light lunches, sandwiches and cakes along with a daily specials board as well as a specialist coffee and tea selection.
Fran added: “I am really looking forward to welcoming visitors old and new….. I was born and brought up in the area and Buckton and Bempton is such a lovely community.”
