After taking up the fundraising challenge to cycle 200 miles by the end of February, a Bridlington woman had completed almost half of the target within a few days.
Jessica Saltmer, who lives in Bridlington, is fundraising for the charity Dementia Support.
“I am aiming to do 200 miles by end of February to raise as much money as possible for dementia.” said Jessica, who works with her partner at AAS Vehicle Repairs in Flamborough.
“I will post regular updates on how many miles I have left to go and any future charity events I will be undertaking. I have already completed 95 miles so I am very confident I can reach my target.” she continued.
Dementia is now the leading cause of death in the UK. It’s a devastating and complex condition and there are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK. Dementia Support helps to reduce loneliness, give the best quality care and supports the whole family.
Jessica added: “If people want to sponsor me but don’t have access to the internet they can get in touch with me via our buisness (AAS Vehicle Repairs, Unit 1G, Flamborough Industrial Estate, Bempton Lane, Flamborough)
