Almost twenty local stalls featuring traditional hand-made goods were on display with local craftspeople selling their creations at the Bempton Christmas Craft Fayre.
The event was organized by the Crafty Companions Craft Club. Judith Smith, a member of the Craft Club said: “All monies raised from this event will be used to buy quality Christmas Decorations for the Village Hall at Bempton.
“Stall holders pay a fee for their tables and then we raise further funds from other sales and refreshments” Judith explained.
The club meets every third Wednesday at the newly built village hall, and new members are always welcome to pop in and either take part in crafts or just enjoy a drink and a chat.
