A local company has launched a grant opportunity to help local business get an online presence.
To celebrate the launch of Nettl of Bridlington, The BKR Group, the company behind the new web and design studio are launching a £10,000 grant initiative to help sole traders and small business owners get their business online.
Research from non-profit organisation Do It Digital and YouGov has suggested that small businesses in Britain without any digital infrastructure are missing out on a total of £20.2billion in revenue each year. Broken down, that equates to nearly £20,000 per business.
According to research by the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills, more than half of customers (55%) say they find it difficult to support local businesses when they simply can’t find them online.
“Our clients tell us they know they need to get their business online, but found it difficult knowing where to start.” “They hear about how expensive having a web presence may be and worry they won’t get value for money. It’s our mission as Nettl of Bridlington to remove the mystery surrounding website and eCommerce and help businesses get online.” Said Christopher Barker, Managing Director of The BKR Group.
“To show our support for local business owners, we’re offering businesses who sign up for a no-obligation consultation, the opportunity of a grant of £100 towards our Nettl :One brochure style websites and grants of £500 towards to the cost of our Nettl :Commerce web shops.”
“We’re so confident we can help local businesses, we’ll even offer a 2-month payment plan for the initial cost of their website, allowing them to get online even quicker and start seeing the benefits of having a digital presence. Our remit is always to support businesses at the heart of our community.”
