The Northern Lights Theatre youth group, which is based at the Spotlight Theatre on West Street in Bridlington, will be presenting a ground-breaking production in November which will take the audience back to the late 1960’s.
Made in Dagenham – The Musical travels back to June 1968 to tell the story of when female workers at Dagenham Ford Factory go on strike due to a cut in pay. The unlikely hero, a working class mum called Rita, finds herself leading the fight for justice. With many twists and turns, laughter, uplifting musical numbers and tears – will the ladies win their fight for equal pay and justice within the workplace?
Made in Dagenham, The Musical, will be on stage from November 19th -23rd with a 7.30pm start. November 24th at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
