Hundreds of visitors had a ‘field day’ during the Active Coast programme over the Easter Holidays.
The Spring Programme offered a chance to get active, be healthy, and enjoy life along with a range of fun activities.
The programme included a range of events including climbing wall, football cage, giant inflatable freefall, extreme arena, slacklines, Nerf Zone, archery, face painting, sumo suits, drumming, dance, art wall and a range of sport and play activities.
The Active Coast Programme also offered a chance to follow the Mile Markers Trails in three locations and keep fit with fun walks : Bridlington has two routes, between the Park and Ride and Sewerby Hall and Gardens, covering three miles.
There are also weekly Walks for Health all year round, which operate from Sewerby Hall and Gardens on Tuesdays at 10.30 am (one hour walks); East Riding Leisure Bridlington on Thursdays at 10am (one hour walks).
Active Coast is provided by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, with its partners Skyball, East Coast Beach Soccer, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Yorkshire Cricket Board and Surfers Against Sewage.
