A Bridlington primary school is opening its doors for former pupils to come and have a look around for the last time before it is demolished.
Staff and governors are holding an Open Day on Saturday 1st December from 10am to 4pm. They are hoping to see past pupils in the old school before it is closed and transferred to new, state-of-the-art buildings.
Old photographs, books and memorabilia will be on display charting the fifty-plus years of the schools history. It is hoped that some of the former staff members will attend the nostalgic event.
School Business Manager Chris Bolton said: “We are organising an open day for ex pupils, staff and visitors to have a nostalgic visit to school before we relocate to our new building in January.”
“Many old photos will be on display following the history of the school – drop in and enjoy the history.”
