Millions of people up and down the country have stepped outside their homes to clap in honour of Captain Sir Tom Moore and the NHS this evening.

Bridlington residents, along with the village households in our area were no exception, clapping in honour of Captain Sir Tom for two minutes at 6.pm

Veterans in Bridlington helped to mark the special ceremony, with Scott McKensie carrying the Royal Naval Assiciation Branch standard and standing in remembrance for two minutes as other members clapped in appreciation.
