Volunteers kept the tradition going by lighting fire balls to keep the centuries old Viking heritage of the village and festival alive for another year.

A socially distanced group of four Flamborough Fire Festival organisers (plus fire Marshall and photographer) kept the fires burning at midnight …to mark the new year and let people know that the group are already planning the 2021/22 spectacular.

As the media partner to the Flamborough Fire Festival, the Echo will keep all our readers and followers updated with the spectacular plans for the event on New Years Eve this year.
