Several swimmers took to the freezing waters of the North Sea in Bridlington to take
part in the traditional Christmas Day dip.
Due to the pandemic, there has been no official event held this year, but to keep the local tradition going several swimmers took to the waters for their socially distanced exercise.
This year is the 54th year of the event on the North Beach, which was originally started by the late Warwick Connelly who was a well loved Bridlingtonian and owned a popular hairdressers on High Street in the old town.
