The Bridlington Echo, in conjunction with Bridlington Town Council, has launched the third Residential Outside Christmas Decoration Competition.
With the dark winter nights drawing in it is hoped householders throughout the area will decorate their homes to convey the magic of Christmas around the town.
Bridlington Town Council have generously provided a gift voucher valued at £50 for the winner of the competition. There will also be a £30 voucher for second prize and a £20 voucher for third.
Entries are limited to non-commercial premies (no businesses or company buildings as there is separate competition run by the Town Council).
Bridlington Mayor, Cllr Liam Dealtry, said: “This is a great opportunity to get the town lit up for Christmas. Every year I am amazed by how much effort is put in by some of the householders and it certainly is a talking point for many.”
Voting will be via the Echo Facebook page and the winner will be announced in mid December. There will be instructions how to enter along with terms and conditions on our Facebook entry page.
The winner last year who had the most Facebook votes, was Catherine Mary Forrestall with her stunning lights, on display around her house on The Crayke.
Second place was Natasha Mainprize and third went to Donna Cooper.
Said Mayor Dealtry; “Good luck to everybody who enters and lets brighten up Brid for Christmas.”
