A new ladies clothing boutique has recently opened its doors on Prospect Street in Bridlington. The Linen Lady Boutique is a joint venture between business partners Karen Grace and Darren Sparham.
Both Karen and Darren had been visitors to Bridlington since they were children and now live in the resort. Said Karen. “I used to run stalls, selling vintage clothing, at events throughout the country. We thought it would be great to have premises in the town centre, where we can stock a huge range of high-quality Italian fashion including clothing, accessories, shoes and free sized items, which cater for all shapes and sizes.”
She added: “We have changing room facilities and have a large range of quality accessories as well as shoes and sandals. The local response has been wonderful and we are now looking forward to the caravan and holiday parks opening for the season. Darren, who previously worked in engineering, also ran market stalls around Yorkshire for 38 years. “People are welcome to come in and have a chat and a look around.
We have had lots of people saying how amazing our shop is and how much of an asset it is to the town.” The Linen Lady Boutique is open from 9.am to 5.pm, Monday to Saturday and plans to open on Sunday’s throughout the season. The couple will also run their regular market stalls at Bridlington and Skirlington.
