The proprietors of a Bridlington sweet treat company have been surprising other local frontline businesses with a host of hand made goods to say ‘thank-you for all you are doing.’
Abigail Dawson who owns Sugar Coated, has been busy creating extra cakes and cookies in between her day-to-day orders to say ‘thank-you’ to local key workers and businesses.
Abigail also created a stunning cake for the Echo as part of her appreciation for bringing the latest news updates, but with staff being home-based it was decided to donate the cake to another worthy cause.
Abigail said:”We really admire that the Echo has been helping everyone in Bridlington – keeping regular news updates for the area and generally just being amazing to the community of Bridlington – before and throughout this lockdown.”
The fabulous cake, designed as a letter B for Bridlington and exquisitely decorated, was then duly delivered to the Wolds View Primary Care Centre at Bridlington, where staff gratefully received the lovely surprise.
Other frontline businesses who have received a treat – in the form of a box of bespoke cookies – are; Flowers by Yvonne, Smiths Butchers and Pro-Fruit.
Abigail and her business partner have also teamed up with the Echo to provide some stunning Valentines Day sweet creations.
