An NHS organisation has acquired its eighth GP practice which serves people in Bridlington, Flamborough and the surrounding areas.
Manor House Surgery, which is based on Providence Way off Promenade in Bridlington, has been taken over by Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust
The surgery joins a portfolio of eight practices which includes Field House Surgery on Victoria Road in Bridlington.
All eight of the Trust’s GP practices are rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission, the national regulator for health and social care services.
Lynn Parkinson, the Trust’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Manor House surgery, its staff and patients to the Trust’s portfolio of primary care services.
The Trust’s acquisition of Manor House Surgery is in line with the organisation’s mission to be ‘a multi-speciality health and social care teaching provider’, and the transfer follows months of careful planning between both parties.
Vicky Scarborough, Deputy Director of Business Development, Estates and Contracting/Managing Director of Humber Primary Care Limited said: “We warmly welcome all the staff and patients of Manor House Surgery to the Trust.
