A Bridlington-based solicitors have continued raising funds for their chosen charity throughout August.
Murray Hills Solicitors chosen Charity of the Year is MNDa; Scarborough & Bridlington group.
The company training officer Caroline Gooder and her husband took on the York 10k and through hard work and determination Caroline absolutely smashed it, completing and crossing the finishing line in a great time and raising £841.50 for the charity.
During August, members of the public were invited to the Murray Hills King Street office to meet volunteers from Motor Neurone Disease Association. Alex and Adam, from the Murray Hills team, were on hand to offer free legal advice on Will making and Probate.
Emma Long from Murray Hills said: “As well as lots of information and free advice there was also a very successful tombola, delicious cakes and bun stalls to tempt everyone and a coffee and tea stand. Our good friends at Mighty Lancer Games invited Pikachu down for the day for photos and lots of hugs and high fives. The event was a great success and raised £497.40 to add to our growing total.”
