A local law firm are celebrating their ten year anniversary this year after a decade of expansion and charitable giving.
Murray Hills opened their Bridlington office in 2009 and have been a prominent name in the town, not only for their legal work, but also the many charitable acts they have undertaken over the years.
The company specialises in Conveyancing (property law), Wills, Probate and Power of Attorney and over the past decade the firm have gone from strength to strength by opening an office in Beverley in 2011 and a further office in Hull in 2013.
Managing Director Mr Keith Murray said: “We are extremely proud of all that we have achieved over the past 10 years, the firm has grown from strength to strength and this is through the hard work, talent and dedication of the team of people working at each of our offices.”
“The Bridlington office first opened its doors in 2009 and of course, it hasn’t always been an easy journey. We opened our first office in the middle of recession – which was always going to take hard work. With a firm foundation of striving to deliver excellent client care, specialising in defined areas and creating a team of friendly, approachable, knowledgeable professionals we were able to develop into the three-office firm and we are very proud of this.”
Over the decade Murray Hills Solicitors have helped a multitude of people to move into their dream home, provide security for their future thorough Wills and Power of Attorneys, but they have also been a devoted member of the local community by raising funds for numerous charities and organisations. These include; Bridlington RNLI, The Hinge Centre, Lions Club, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Salvation Army, St Catherine’s Hospice, Friends of Bridlington Hospital, along with many local sporting clubs. They also take part in the annual Christmas Tree Festival which showcases a plethora of beautifully decorated trees in aid of the Rotary Club.
Murray Hills chosen charity of 2019 is MND Association Scarborough & Bridlington and they hope to make this year their biggest charity donations so far.
Over the past 10 years Murray Hills have achieved plenty of national accreditations including; Cyber Essentials, Lexcel and CQS. They were also the first Bridlington business to sign up to the Armed Forces Covenant which provides discounts across their services for employees of the Armed Forces and also the NHS. The company has also opened their doors to provide a home for Cruse Bereavement Care when the charity found themselves without a permanent base,
Mr Murray was awarded ‘Best Boss’ at the 2018 Toast of the Coast Awards and Citizen of Honour in 2018 by Bridlington Town Council.
