A Bridlington store has raised hundreds of pounds after hosting a fundraiser for the Alzheimers Society.
The One Stop shop on Flamborough Road held a charity morning in the store selling cup cakes to shoppers.
Staff also held a prize raffle and also baked their own cakes to raise funds for the society.
Michaela Woods, one of the organiser and store manager, said: “We had a wonderful day, and staff came into work in fancy dress to add a bit of fun. I would like to thank all the people who donated as well as the staff, businesses and members of the public who give us prizes to raffle.”
A total of £342 was raised from the day and this will help swell the coffers of the Alzheimers Society, who spearheaded a nationwide Cupcake Day of fundraising.
