A local charity have thanked Pets at Home for their ‘amazing’ donation which has helped pets in care
Bridlington RSPCA held a ‘Santa Paws Appeal’ in the weeks running up to Christmas allowing customers to buy a pets dinner for 50p.
Kay Harrison from the RSPCA said: “This is a truly amazing amount of money for which we are very grateful. We had over 50 pets in our care over the festive period, many of which have found new homes in the New Year, but for every one that has been re-homed another has come into our care to take their place.”
At grand total of £1098.50 was donated from the campaign to RSPCA volunteers from the staff at Pets at Home.
Added Kay: “We have done so well with re-homing the animals in our care that we have been able to take in neglected animals from the Inspectors in other areas as well as our own. We are very grateful for the support of our local Pets at Home store and their customers who help us a great deal over the year.”
