Bridlington U3A’s first-ever Showcase event will take place on the 18th March.
The Bridlington U3A ‘Showcase’ is a celebration of the activities which the group members participate in.
The event will start at 10:00 am and run until 12:00 noon at the Royal Hall in the Bridlington Spa. The Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council will be in attendance with her Consort along with the Mayor and Mayoress of Bridlington.
Kevin Smith, who is the Chair of the group, said: “Bridlington U3A is a charity run entirely by volunteers whose membership consists of adults mainly in the age range 55 to 95. “
“We provide our members with a wide range of activities which meet their social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs. Our members frequently tell us the U3A makes a big difference to their lives e.g. Our U3A formed in September 2007 with 23 members and our membership has grown to over 1100 and is still growing.”
Any prospective members are welcome to the event. https://u3asites.org.uk/bridlington/
