It was a case of lights, camera, action as a local theatre group headed out on location to film for their forthcoming production.
Spotlight Theatre took their actors on to the streets of Bridlington as they filmed a scene for their upcoming production of Sister Act.
Director, Sasha Walker-Allen, and Cinematographer, Harry Shires, were shooting a chase scene on Blue Billy Hill near the harbour. The scene will be integrated into their version of the award-winning musical.
The venture was generously supported by Bridlington Harbour Commissioners, who own the land. There were also Bridlington PCSO’s who were on hand to keep the area clear of passers-by during filming as well as members of Spotlight Theatre who were there to lend a hand throughout.
Actors, Kerri Arundel, Richard Mainprize, Kenneth Davison and Peter Hare braved the cold and strong winds in full costume in order to get just the right shot.
Sister Act is being staged at the Spotlight Theatre on West Street from Tuesday, April 30th until Sunday 5th May.
