It was all the fun of the Summer Fayre….and despite the terrible weather hundreds of pounds were raised for a local charity.
The Hinge Centre, based on the Havenfield estate, threw open its doors to welcome visitors and raise much needed funds for the vital work that the charity carries out.
Community Co-ordinator Megan Robinson said; “Despite the weather, people still came along to enjoy the fun. The tombola, raffle and homemade cakes were very popular, as always. We raised a total of £265, which is brilliant. We are holding another coffee morning on Wednesday 28th August 10.30-12.noon. Come along for coffee and cake, while your children enjoy the fun activities available. All proceeds raised are in aid of The Hinge.’
