As part of their own community initiative, Bridlington-based Hannah Rose Funeral Services are hosting a unique monthly support cafe.
The first Community Support Cafe will take place at 3.30pm on Tuesday 24th March at the Hannah Rose premises at Prospect Arcade, near Palace Car Park in the town.
Hannah Rose co-proprietor Michelle Lowe said: “Sadly, when someone passes away the people left behind feel alone and very isolated when facing grief. We all face grief differently – some adjust easier to their life without that person – others feel like the grief will never leave them.”
She continued: “As a community support initiative we have recognised there are limited rescources for people facing the future after losing loved one. We are here to listen – sometimes talking to a stranger does the world of good.”
“At Hannah Rose Funeral Services we are offering the use of the support cafe for any person who has lost someone – or it could benefit anyone caring for a person or those affected by the challenges of ill health.” Michelle added.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided free of charge and there will be listening and sympathetic staff members on hand. The cafe is planned will be held monthly at Hannah Rose Funeral Services, 10 Prospect Arcade (bottom of Palace Car Park) in Bridlington.
