A stunning scene at North Landing on the Flamborough Headland on the East Yorkshire coast. It is a view that could grace the pages of travel brochures selling the dream of holidaying in a beautiful Caribbean island or a view of a Pacific paradise thousands of miles away.
But this is sunny Bridlington, nestled on the normally chilly east coast of Yorkshire, where temperatures are expected to reach around 20 degrees centigrade today – (30th March) – making it warmer than Corfu in the Mediterranean.
Despite the chilly start to the day, keen photographer Ian Perry was out and about at the crack of dawn to capture this beautiful picture which was taken near to his house on the Northside of Bridlington
Said Ian:”The picture looks like it was snapped on a tropical island rather that in Brid… but it was actually taken nearly my house on the Northside seafront in Bridlington.”
