Bridlington Spa Sunday 2nd Dec. to 23rd Dec – FREE ENTRY

This new collection of paintings will feature all of Andrew’s favourite subjects and local Yorkshire scenery including red telephone and post boxes, sheep, snow and eccentric local characters.

The exhibition will also spotlight fellow artists Bev Hutchins, Pat McLoughlin and Shelia Copeland who attend Andrew’s watercolour classes.

Andrew runs weekly classes in Boynton, Beverley and Lund, suitable for all abilities.

This exhibition will also be extra special as for the first time it will be a family affair including paintings by his mother and sister who live in West Yorkshire.

Andrew said of his latest exhibition ‘This is the season I love to paint, working with a limited palette to create atmosphere and depth, this new collection will really showcase the stunning countryside and characters in East Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

He has a series of paintings called City Gents- paintings which reflect the atmosphere of match days in and around the Valley Parade ground. Look carefully at his rural pictures and you will often see a walker wearing a scarf in the burgundy and orange of Bradford City.
