A unique prayer event will take place in Bridlington this March.
The World Day of Prayer is a woman-led inter-denominational movement and is celebrated in over 120 countries worldwide.
On March 6th the event begins in Samoa and travels round the world through several time zones until it reaches American Samoa – thirty six hours later.
There will be two services in Bridlington, the first will be held at St John Burlington Methodist Church on St John Street starting at 2pm. The second event of the day will take place at the Salvation Army on Wellington Road at 7pm.
This year the women of Zimbabwe have written the special service which will be heard by millions of people worldwide during the day of prayer.
Everyone will be made very welcome at both events and people area urged to come and share their faith.
