A Family Fun Dog Show and competition which took place in aid of the Bridlington-based Freeman 1st Foundation has been hailed as a great success.
The event, which took place in the grounds of Manor Court Hotel in Carnaby, had various categories and classes which owners could enter their dogs into.
Claire Louise O’Brien from Fieldale Gundogs – the main sponsor of the event, said: “We had an amazing attendance, with one class having 37 entries.”
“The Best Puppy class was won by Buster, owned by Donna.
This popular category was sponsored by Hudson Contracts.
Other winners included Most Appealing Eyes which was won by Blue Bear and sponsored by Vetfleece.
The Most Fabulous Family was won by The Sellers family – this class was sponsored by Bridlington Motor Auctions. Best Trick and supreme champion was won by Diesel the border.” added Claire.
Those who attended the event enjoyed refreshments and a fun day out with their four-legend friends. The total raised for the Freeman 1st Foundation from the day was £3721.64.
The Freeman 1st Foundation provides financial and practical support to young people with outstanding abilities in the arts, academia, business or sport who might otherwise be held back by their circumstances.
