A new community-led initiative is making a real difference in Bridlington, with the local Ambassadors group working alongside the local police to tackle crime and improve the town centre.

The partnership forms part of a five-year Clear, Hold, Build programme targeting drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour. Early signs show the collaborative approach is delivering positive results.
Through its Property Pride campaign, the Ambassadors identified 39 properties in need of improvement. Around two-thirds of owners have responded positively, with many buildings already improved or undergoing work.

Support from local firms, including Durasign and Prestige Cleaning Services has boosted efforts, alongside volunteers from Brightening Up Bridlington and the Bridlington Leisure Association (BLA).
With ongoing clean-ups and restoration work projects are set to be delivered to help revitalise the town.
