A Bridlington funeral company is appealing for help from scooter riders in the area.
Outriders are required to follow the funeral cortege of George Stokell who sadly passed away recently.
The funeral will take place on Monday 15 November and the hearse will travel from Flamborough to the East Riding Crematorium at Octon.
Anyone who can help are asked meet at the lay-by near to the Marton Manor Farm shop and be ready to leave promptly at 11.30am.
A spokesman for Unsworth Funeral Directors said: “We are looking after a gentleman who has been devoted to his scooter most of his life and it would mean so much to his wife if he could be accompanied on his last journey with outriders on the day of the funeral.”
“The bikes will be invited to join the procession coming from Flamborough…..thank you to everyone of you for your help.” added the spokesman.
