Two British boxing legends are heading to the Bridlington Spa this April.
An evening with Frank Bruno MBE and Ricky Hatton is set to hit the stage on Thursday, 13 April and is being organised by Bridlington resident Shane Green, whose company New Wave have brought the event to the town.
“The event itself has been very well responded to. Special thanks to all businesses and people who have and continue to do their bits to ensure this is a success not only for us but for the town as well.” explained Shane.
“We really are trying to potentially create something regular by bringing fantastic talent to our town.
“Even if boxing isn’t your thing, you may know someone who does like boxing or even just want to support local people doing things for the town please forward details to anyone you may think of.”
Shane is hoping that the event will bring people to Bridlington for the show, who will then stay in the town for a day or two.
“It has a knock on effect people with coming to the town, maybe they need to stay over in a hotel, go out to eat, go for a drink, buy gifts for people, enjoy themselves in the local amusements and other attractions and we have all these here to benefit. We are hoping it will be a success, then we will try our best to bring more and more to the town.”
Tickets for the event start at £40, with special packages for VIP ticket holders, which include meet and greet, personal photograph and a dedicated area to see the boxing legends.
