Bridlington Art Society are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.
As part of the celebrations, the society are holding an exhibition of the group members’ artwork in the fantastic setting at Bridlington Priory with the theme of the exhibition ‘Christian and Cultural Heritage’. The exhibition in the Bridlington Priory takes place from August 24th to September 9th 2024.
A spokesperson for the society said: “We have over 60 members and meetings take place at Bridlington North Library on the first Friday of every month. These meetings have demonstrations for our members to improve their knowledge and techniques.”
Several times a year the society also run relaxed, friendly and inclusive six- hour workshops, which are aimed at the novice up to experienced artists.
“To support local causes the society are in the early stages of planning a calendar of events for 2025. The content will be society members artwork. All profits from the calendar will go back into the community” said a spokesperson.
