Anticipation is building as the popular Bridlington Kite Festival returns in just two months, promising a spectacular weekend of colour, entertainment and family fun on the East Yorkshire coast.

Taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2026, the free event will once again transform Sewerby Cliff Top into a vibrant aerial, outdoor celebration.
Running from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day, the festival is expected to attract thousands of visitors eager to witness breathtaking displays from professional kite flyers. Among the highlights will be some of the world’s largest inflatable kites, filling the skyline with eye-catching shapes and colours.

Beyond the aerial performances, the event offers something for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a variety of street food stalls, children’s fairground rides and interactive entertainment throughout the weekend.
Organisers say the festival continues to grow in popularity each year, drawing both local families and tourists to the area.

With free admission and a wide range of attractions, the Bridlington Kite Festival is set to deliver another wonderful weekend by the sea.
