Mike Rubery has been presented with a well-deserved leaving gift after a decade of dedicated service as Secretary of the Bridlington Royal Naval Association.
During a farewell ceremony, Mike Adams presented him with a unique whisky gift set, which included a glass submarine and two glasses, marking the occasion.
Taking over the role of Secretary is Andrew ‘Max’ Wall, a veteran who has served 33 years in the Royal Navy, including time as Master at Arms.
Members of the Royal Naval Association extend their best wishes to Max as he embarks on this new chapter.
The group meets regularly at the Old Ship Inn, St John Street in Bridlington, and welcomes all Royal Navy veterans to join.
