Traders and creators are being invited to take part in the Bridlington Steampunk Weekend, a distinctive celebration set to transform Bridlington into a hub of retro-futuristic creativity this September.
Organisers have announced that trade stand bookings are now open for the event, which will run on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September. The venue, the iconic Bridlington Spa Royal Hall, will host a wide range of vendors, live entertainment and immersive steampunk experiences.
The weekend will also coincide with the high-octane Race the Waves festival, creating a vibrant atmosphere along the seafront as vintage vehicles and costumed enthusiasts share the spotlight.
Event organisers say the collaboration offers a rare opportunity for traders to reach diverse audiences, from steampunk fans to motorsport visitors. “This is a unique chance to showcase your products in a lively, themed environment right by the coast,” a spokesperson said.
“We particularly welcome enquiries from Vintage, Retro, Automobile & Motorcycle paraphernalia, 20’s – 60’s merch etc that tie in with the spirit of the unique phenomenon that is Race The Waves and the era of speed, innovation, fashion and living.”
