Bridlington’s East Yorkshire College held a celebration night in June to recognise the achievements of learners at the college, which is based on St Mary’s Walk.
Principal for Bridlington and Scarborough colleges Simon Gummerson thanked the leaners, parents and tutors for their dedication and hard wok over the previous academic year and handed out awards and certificates to over 20 students.
Carrie-Anne Walkington from Bridlington was presented with The Principal’s Award for outstanding achievement throughout the year. Carrie-Anne is pursuing a career in early years studies and childcare.
Bridlington Mayor Cllr Mike Heslop-Mullens and Deputy Mayor Rick Arrand and his consort Kim were also in attendance along with campus director Tracey Murray.
